Azota is Your Trusted Partner for Cryogenic Plants

Azota Is Headquartered In Houston, Texas Serving Nationwide

Azota has a cryogenic plant design for clients requiring an expedited completion date for their natural gas processing plant. Standard designs may require slight modification depending on the inlet gas composition. Azota has a small 60 MMSCFD plant design that is completely modular and portable and a 200 MMSCFD standard plant design that can be quickly customized to accommodate inlet gas conditions.

Why Choose Azota for your cryogenic needs?

A Case Study in Cryogenic Plant Deign Efficiency

The graph below compares a typical recycled reflux demethanizer plant to a single reflux demethanizer plant. The axes compare horsepower versus ethane recoveries for typical 200 MMSCFD plant. Increasing ethane recoveries in a traditional, single reflux high ethane recovery plant requires lowering the demethanizer pressure (increasing the turbo-expander expansion ratio). The required compression ratio of the residue gas compressors increases with the improvements in ethane recovery. In a recycled refluxed system, equivalent ethane recoveries can be achieved with less horsepower (or ethane recovery levels can be achieved that were unattainable with the single reflux design).
